Reviews

The cottage was set in a very quiet location, with beautiful surroundings. The cottage itself had everything you could want for the week, especially in terms of kitchen equipment. The hot tub was a great way to relax in the evenings after a days walking or climbing.

The cottage was beautiful and the hot-tub was simply amazing! Sitting in it on Christmas Eve looking around at the surrounding mountains - it really was idyllic!! The cottage itself was great and set out really nice to be honest. Lovely little log fire in the lounge which was a nice added bonus. A great, quiet location with amazing views and scenery.

Beautiful surroundings and cottage. Great if you just want to get away from it all! Including the outside world! (no mobile signal!).

We stayed at Melin Newydd and found the location idyllic. Perfect place for a totally away from it all holiday. The added bonus to this cottage is the private hot tub. We would have no problem recommending this holiday to anyone.

I would definitely recommend this holiday to others. The cottage is in an ideal location for peace and quiet and access to the mountains and the seaside is just a few miles away. It is just as the pictures show, extremely well equipped and the flowers, wine and chocolates on arrival was a lovely touch. The hot tub was fabulous, especially after a hard days hiking in the mountains! Enjoyed it so much, I am just checking availability for next year. There are 4 properties together, but they are all very private - it is all very well thought out and very well kept.

We had a great walk from the cottage between the mountains of Moel Ogof and Moel Hebog and into Beddgelert. We came back over Moel Hebog - steep at the top but well worth the climb as the view of the sunset on the way back down was amazing - but it was dark when we got back!

We have just had a fantastic holiday in this wonderfull cottage. The owner was very helpful and the cottage was equipped and maintained to a very high standard, the hot tub was superb, the full sky tv package great for keeping the children entertained when they weren't at the park or in the hot tub, amazing walks right on your doorstep and beautiful views both from the conservatory and the hot tub, a beautifull place ideal for a relaxing break but with plenty of things to do close by, somewhere we all definatley want to stay again.

Beautifull place, with fantastic views, equipped above and beyond expectations, the ideal location for a relaxing holiday but close enough to major towns so there was someting for us all.

I have just spent the most blissfully quiet week at this cottage. Very remote and tranquil, surrounded by sheep and mountains, the cottage is extremely well equippd and we wanted for nothing. No mobile signal which meant no interruptions - just wonderful!
